Teri O'Meara

Post-doctoral Research Associate

Teri O'Meara was first introduced to marine science research through the Shedd Aquarium High School Marine Biology Program.  She continued to participate in research through undergrad at Hope College, graduate school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Auckland.  Teri is broadly interested in using interdisciplinary approaches to understand non-additive effects of multiple stressors (primarily anthropogenic) on networked ecosystem functions.  At Oak Ridge National Laboratory, she is part of a collaborative team (SERC, VIMS, Northern Arizona University, University of Minnesota) working to understand coastal wetland carbon sequestration in a warmer climate.
