Chris Lindsley

Data Architect, Distributed Active Archive Center for Biogeochemical Dynamics

Chris Lindsley is a research staff member in the Computational Science and Engineering Division and the Climate Change Science Institute of ORNL where he serves as the Data Architect for the NASA/ORNL Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC) for Biogeochemical Dynamics.  This is Chris' second stint with the ORNL DAAC.  Previously he served as the System Architect for the Mercury distributed metadata management, data discovery and access tool, which grew to manage metadata for more than 15 projects funded by various federal organizations.

Chris received a B. S. in Computer Science from Iowa State University in 1983 and an M.B.A in Management from the University of Tennessee in 1988.  He came to Oak Ridge in June 1983, fresh out of college, and has remained here ever since working on a wide variety of software projects in both technical and managerial roles.
